I have hand-stamped the word on a piece of 18 gauge silver then oxidized and buffed the piece for a beautiful satin finish. I attached the tag to a black synthetic cord (strong, stretch, and fray-resistant), added some silver Hill Tribe beads that I picked up in Thailand, and finished it with a slide closure. I put a slight curve on the tag so that it fits nicely on the wrist. This word measures 1 3/8" (30mm) wide and 1/4" (7mm) tall. The letters are 1/8" (3mm), but definitely vary in size (you can see 's' is small, 'p' is bigger...).
