I have created these fun sterling silver earrings by cutting a hole in the top layer to 'frame' the silver spiral that dangles inside. The back layer is also silver but has been oxidized to a dark gray to show off the spiral. I have hand stamped the x design around the top layer, oxidized and then brushed to a nice matte finish. All three layers dangle from the ear wire which is crafted from 21 guage sterling wire. The earrings measure 1/2" (13mm) square. These are great everyday earrings!
