I have hand stamped a spiral design on 1/2" (13mm) sterling silver discs and then hammered them into shallow cups. I oxidized the earrings to bring out the spiral detail and then brushed them to a beautiful satin finish. I then added a 4mm faceted garnet stone. The silver cup and garnet stone dangle from a sterling silver hoop that is 3/4" (20mm) across.
